Your driveway is the salon. Tell us about a gate, a hill, an apartment curb or a tight street when you book, and the van shows up with a plan.
What you stop doing
Livermore is a big town with Interstate 580 running across the top of it, so a trip to a salon on the far side can turn into a long errand, twice in one day. A groomer at your curb takes it off the calendar. In Springtown and the streets north of the freeway the van parks out front or in your driveway. Around Downtown the side streets are tighter, and the groomer works out the legal spot with you. South of town, out on Tesla Road, Vineyard Avenue and the lanes into wine country, plenty of homes sit at the end of a long gravel drive: tell us once where the van can stand level for a couple of hours and every visit after that runs the same. The van carries its own warm water and power, so it never asks your house for a hose or an outlet. Your dog skips the car ride and the crate, and walks back through your front door clean and dry.

The groom happens at your curb, so the drive, the drop-off and the pickup fall off your to-do list.
Salon day vs. Wow day

NotesPick a day, pick a time, tell us about your dog. Done. We confirm the day before.
Your groomer texts when they are on the way, then the van pulls up to your curb with its own warm water and power. No drive, no cages, no waiting room.
One groomer, one dog, start to finish. No other dogs, no crate, no rushing. You get on with your day.
About 120 min · about 180 for large dogsClean coat, trimmed nails, clean ears, fully dry, and a tail that will not stop wagging. Both handoffs together take about five minutes.
In our example salon morning, about 2 h 30 min goes to driving, traffic and the counter. With Wow My Dog, the groom happens at your curb while you get on with your day: about 5 min of handoffs, so about 2 h 30 min back.

Real parks, real trails, and what they do to a coat. Notes from the groomer's side of the van.

Snapshot 01 · Parks
The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District runs seven fenced dog parks: Vista Meadows on Westminster Way, Robertson Park on Robertson Park Road, May Nissen on Rincon Avenue, Max Baer on Murdell Lane, Marlin A. Pound on Bluebell Drive, Cayetano on Portola Avenue and Bruno Canziani on Charlotte Way. All of them are open from sunrise to sunset. The district's rules are short: every dog wears a current license tag, no more than two dogs per person inside the fence, a leash in hand for each dog even while they run, and children 12 and under come with an adult. Bring your own bags.

Snapshot 02 · Trails
Sycamore Grove Park is 847 acres of open space on the south side of town, and it belongs to the Livermore district, not the East Bay parks, so an East Bay Regional Parks pass does not cover the $5 daily parking at the Wetmore Road and Arroyo Road lots. Dogs are welcome on every trail, on a leash the whole time. The gates open at 7 a.m. and close around sunset, with the day's closing time posted at the entrances. The park is also home to the California red-legged frog, which is one more good reason to keep a curious nose on the path.

Snapshot 03 · Lake
Del Valle Regional Park wraps 4,395 acres around a lake five miles long, at the end of Del Valle Road off Mines Road. Parking is $5 a car, and on weekends and holidays from April to Labor Day it becomes a $10 flat entry. The East Bay Regional Park District keeps dogs off its swim beaches and on a six-foot leash in parking lots, picnic areas, lawns and campgrounds; on the open trails away from all that they may go off leash if they stay under control, up to three dogs per walker without a permit. The gates open at 6 a.m. for most of the year and at 7 a.m. in winter.
Del Valle Regional Park, East Bay Regional Park DistrictGroomer's note, coat care around Livermore: Livermore sits on the warm, dry side of the valley, and once the hills around Sycamore Grove and Del Valle turn gold, the dry grass sends foxtails home in ears, armpits and between toes. Double coats blow their undercoat through the long summer, and a lake day at Del Valle adds silt to the mix. A warm-water bath, a full blow-out and a thorough brush-out lifts the loose coat and the trail grit before it reaches your floors, and the groomer checks every paw and ear for awns while they work. On the chilly winter mornings the warm water matters just as much: the van heats its own, so the rinse stays warm from start to finish.

All of Livermore, on both sides of 580. That means Springtown and North Livermore above the freeway, Downtown and the older streets around it, the Portola, Rincon and East Avenue neighborhoods, and South Livermore out along Tesla Road, Vineyard Avenue and Arroyo Road. Pleasanton and Dublin are on the same Tri-Valley routes, so an address near the city line is no problem. Share your full address when you book and we confirm it.
Yes, as long as there is a level spot for it. The van can park on gravel, a paved pad or the shoulder by your gate, wherever it can stand flat for the length of the groom. Tell us at booking where that spot is, plus any gate code, low branch or tight turn on the way in, and the groomer drives straight to it. The van brings its own warm water and power, so it needs no hose or outlet from your house or barn.
Yes. Every visit includes a brush-out and an ear cleaning, and the groomer checks ears, paws, armpits and feathering for foxtails and burrs as they work. A tidy trim on the feet and feathering gives seeds less to grab during the dry months. If a foxtail looks embedded, the groomer shows you and leaves it for your vet. Every four to six weeks from late spring through fall keeps a trail dog's coat easy to check between visits.
Yes, at every Livermore address. Cat grooming happens in the same quiet, self-contained van, one-on-one with no dogs on board: a flat $140 for a Cat Bath or $180 for a Cat Bath + Haircut, each with the same care as the matching dog package. Long-haired cats that mat in the dry valley heat do well on a regular schedule. Tell us how your cat feels about being handled, and the groomer lets them set the pace.
