Your driveway is the salon. Tell us about a gate, a hill, an apartment curb or a tight street when you book, and the van shows up with a plan.
What you stop doing
Rocklin is where the valley starts climbing into the foothills, and you can see it street by street. Stanford Ranch and Whitney Ranch are newer and wide, with two-car driveways the van backs into without a second thought. Whitney Oaks and Clover Valley wind up over granite and oak, with steeper drives and a few gates, so we ask about the slope and the code when you book. Closer in, around the Quarry District and Springview, the lots are older and smaller, and the curb out front does the job. Wherever you are, your dog never leaves home. The van carries its own warm water, so the bath runs warm on a frosty foothill morning in January, and the blow dry is finished inside before your dog steps back out into an August afternoon. No drive down Sunset Boulevard to a salon, no lobby, no crate, and about two hours later the van is on its way.

NotesPick a day, pick a time, tell us about your dog. Done. We confirm the day before.
Your groomer texts when they are on the way, then the van pulls up to your curb with its own warm water and power. No drive, no cages, no waiting room.
One groomer, one dog, start to finish. No other dogs, no crate, no rushing. You get on with your day.
About 120 min · about 180 for large dogsClean coat, trimmed nails, clean ears, fully dry, and a tail that will not stop wagging. Both handoffs together take about five minutes.
In our example salon morning, about 2 h 30 min goes to driving, traffic and the counter. With Wow My Dog, the groom happens at your curb while you get on with your day: about 5 min of handoffs, so about 2 h 30 min back.

Arrived before the arrival time, which we appreciated, and were ready to go straight to work to take our dog. For context; our dog is an Australian shepherd weighing 40-50lbs, doesn't like the blow dryer. Our dog came out looking beautiful, well groomed, smelling fresh, and wearing a cute bandana. We also requested a trim, she has a double coat so they didn't over do it per our request. It was our first time using Wow! My Dog, and the team was great in communicating with us.

Wow, my dog is the best Mobile grooming. This was the second time I had them groomed my dog Harley. The groomer did a really good job and Harley loves his groomer. They are the best and they are always on time.

Mauricio is such an excellent groomer! Our dog France is kind of aggressive, not friendly ,has a tantrums and only Mauricio can groom him. He is like a dog whisperer who can tame our dog. He is very friendly, if we could give him 10 stars we would! He is indeed a Master groomer! Thanks Mauricio!

Real parks, real trails, and what they do to a coat. Notes from the groomer's side of the van.

Snapshot 01 · Parks
Rocklin has one off-leash dog park, and residents paid for it. RRUFF Dog Park sits inside Johnson-Springview Park on 5th Street, open every day from dawn to dusk, with three separate areas: one for small dogs, one for large dogs and a shaded special-needs area paved around artificial turf for wheelchair access. Rocklin Residents Unite for Fido, a nonprofit, raised the money for the fencing and the dog-safe ground cover, and the park opened in late 2011; its volunteers still clean up on weekends while the city looks after it during the week. Guide Dogs for the Blind and Canine Companions hold training classes there, and a tire agility course keeps everyone else busy. An afternoon of agility and dust is a fine reason to book a bath.

Snapshot 02 · Leash
Outside RRUFF, every Rocklin dog stays on a leash of six feet or less, in parks and on sidewalks alike. After a run of reports about loose dogs in city parks, the city reminded residents that Municipal Code 6.04.050 bars off-leash dogs outside designated areas and announced it would start issuing citations. That covers the walks most people actually take, like the paved paths of the Sunset Whitney Recreation Area, the 184 acres the city bought in 2017 and hopes will become its own Central Park; its East Trails project adds 2.2 miles of paved path. Carry bags, keep your dog's ID tags current, and if a loose dog worries you, Animal Control answers at (916) 625-5400.
Rocklin dog leash policy
Snapshot 03 · Licensing
Rocklin's animal ordinance asks every dog older than four months to carry a city license. You can apply online through PetData, by mail with a form from the Police Department lobby on Rocklin Road, or by phone at (855) 223-1681, and a copy of the rabies certificate goes with the application. The license runs until that rabies certificate expires, and service dogs pay no fee. Cats need no license in Rocklin at all, although, as the city points out, a pet pig does. Licensed or not, cats are as welcome in the van as dogs, with the same quiet one-on-one groom in your driveway.
Rocklin Animal Control and pet licensingGroomer's note, coat care around Rocklin: Rocklin's oak-and-grass hillsides turn gold by late spring, and dry grass means foxtails: the seed heads ride home in ears, armpits and the gaps between toes after a walk at Sunset Whitney or along Clover Valley. Summer heat bakes into a thick double coat, and the winter rain turns trail dust into mud on every leg. A warm-water bath and a full blow-out in your driveway lifts the dust, the mud and the dead undercoat, and the groomer checks each ear and paw for seeds. Heavy shedders do well every four to six weeks from May through September; curly and doodle coats stay easier on a regular trim all year.

All of Rocklin, on both sides of Interstate 80: the Quarry District, Springview and Sunset West in the older middle of town, the newer streets of Stanford Ranch and Whitney Ranch, and Whitney Oaks and Clover Valley up among the oaks. Roseville, Citrus Heights and Antelope share our Roseville-area routes, so an address on the Roseville city line is no trouble. Travel is included in the groom price for every Rocklin address; share the full address when you book and we confirm it.
Yes. Tell us about the slope and send the gate code when you book, and the groomer settles the spot before the day: the flat top of the drive, the curb in front or a guest space nearby. The van needs room to park level for about 120 minutes and brings its own warm water and power, so it never runs a hose or a cord to your house. Your groomer texts when they are on the way, so you can open the gate from inside.
Foxtails first, then dust. Once Rocklin's grass goes gold in late spring, the barbed seed heads catch in ears, armpits, noses and the gaps between toes, and they work inward instead of falling out, so check your dog after every walk and tell us about any head shaking or hard sneezing. Every four to six weeks suits most RRUFF regulars through the summer. The groomer starts with a long warm-water rinse, combs out the feathering, trims the hair between the pads so there is less for seeds to catch on and checks every ear and paw before the blow-out.
Yes, at every Rocklin address. Cat grooming happens in the same quiet, self-contained van, one-on-one with no dogs on board: a Cat Bath is a flat $140 and a Cat Bath + Haircut a flat $180. The Cat Bath includes the same care as our dog Bath, and the Cat Bath + Haircut the same as our dog Bath + Haircut. A long-haired cat that sheds through the foothill summer does especially well on a regular schedule; carry your cat out in a carrier and the groomer takes it from there.
