Your driveway is the salon. Tell us about a gate, a hill, an apartment curb or a tight street when you book, and the van shows up with a plan.
What you stop doing
Burlingame calls itself the City of Trees, and the trees set the terms of a groom here. The eucalyptus along El Camino Real and the oaks over Easton Addition and Burlingame Park drop leaves, bark and sticky litter all year, and a dog that lies in the yard under them comes in with it worked into the coat. So the comfort point of a Burlingame groom is warm water: the van carries its own heated tank, the bath runs warm from the first rinse to the last, and the gunk lifts instead of being combed out dry. Parking is simple on most blocks. Easton Addition, Burlingame Park and Ray Park homes have a driveway, and the van pulls in and sets up a few steps from your door. Up in Mills Estate the driveways slope, so we ask for the flattest spot near the house. In the flats and condos along California Drive and around the Caltrain station, we ask for the guest space or the loading zone and agree on it before the day. Your dog never gets in a car.

NotesPick a day, pick a time, tell us about your dog. Done. We confirm the day before.
Your groomer texts when they are on the way, then the van pulls up to your curb with its own warm water and power. No drive, no cages, no waiting room.
One groomer, one dog, start to finish. No other dogs, no crate, no rushing. You get on with your day.
About 120 min · about 180 for large dogsClean coat, trimmed nails, clean ears, fully dry, and a tail that will not stop wagging. Both handoffs together take about five minutes.
In our example salon morning, about 2 h 30 min goes to driving, traffic and the counter. With Wow My Dog, the groom happens at your curb while you get on with your day: about 5 min of handoffs, so about 2 h 30 min back.

Arrived before the arrival time, which we appreciated, and were ready to go straight to work to take our dog. For context; our dog is an Australian shepherd weighing 40-50lbs, doesn't like the blow dryer. Our dog came out looking beautiful, well groomed, smelling fresh, and wearing a cute bandana. We also requested a trim, she has a double coat so they didn't over do it per our request. It was our first time using Wow! My Dog, and the team was great in communicating with us.

Snapshot 01 · Parks
The city's own list runs to seven off-leash spots. The fenced one is the Bayside Dog Exercise Park at 1125 Airport Boulevard, three quarters of an acre by the bay, open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and closed Thursdays from 7 to 9 a.m. for maintenance, with parking on Airport Boulevard or in Bayside Park. Ray Dog Park on Balboa Way opens at 8 a.m., Adrian Dog Park and Skyline Park run sunrise to sunset, and the grass at Cuernavaca Park and by the Washington Park rose garden is off leash only from 6 to 7:30 in the morning. Two dogs per person, licensed and vaccinated, leash on at the gate.

Snapshot 02 · Trails
The Mills Canyon Wildlife Area is the one piece of Burlingame the Parks Division keeps wild: a creek canyon on the west side with a single trail of steps and switchbacks, entered from Sebastian Drive. The city has rebuilt the retaining walls, steps and drainage since 2016, repaired a landslide in 2024, and CAL FIRE crews keep shaded fuel breaks along the canyon. Mills Creek runs along the bottom, so the trail stays damp and the shade holds it that way; the leash stays on, and a canyon walk ends with mud on the belly and leaf litter in the feathering, which is the usual reason a groom lands on the calendar.

Snapshot 03 · Access
Burlingame enforces its meters from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Saturday, with Sundays and holidays free. The Burlingame Avenue meters allow two hours, Broadway runs 24-minute and one-hour meters by the busiest shops, and the city's 17 lots are posted at two, four, nine or ten hours. The residential streets next to both districts, among them the 1000 and 1500 blocks of Burlingame Avenue, Bellevue, Chapin, Howard and Douglas, are permit blocks where only residents and their visitors may park for long. A groom runs about two hours, so for a downtown flat we would rather use your building's guest space or a resident driveway; tell us which when you book.
Burlingame parking info and lot mapsGroomer's note, coat care around Burlingame: A Burlingame dog can go from the bay wind at Bayside Park to the shade of Mills Canyon in the same week, and the coat keeps both: salt and dust dried into the top coat from the shoreline, creek mud and eucalyptus litter in the feathering from the canyon. A warm-water bath, full blow-out and brush-through clears all of it. Dog-park regulars get a careful once-over for burrs and foxtails in ears and between the toes, and doodle-type coats stay on a regular haircut schedule so the damp from the canyon never meets a mat.

All of Burlingame: Easton Addition, Burlingame Park, Burlingame Terrace, Burlingame Gate, Lyon-Hoag, Burlingame Village, Burlingame Grove, Ray Park, Mills Estate, Burlingables and Oak Grove Manor, plus the flats and condos around Burlingame Avenue, Broadway and the Caltrain station. Burlingame Hills, Hillsborough, Millbrae, San Mateo and San Bruno are on our Peninsula routes too, so a border street is no problem. Share your full address when you book and we confirm it.
In your building's guest space or loading zone if it has one, or at a legal curb spot we agree on before the day. Downtown meters are enforced 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and the Burlingame Avenue meters allow two hours, which is about the length of a groom, so a four-hour meter or your building's own space is the safer bet. The blocks behind the avenue, Bellevue, Chapin, Howard and Douglas among them, are residential permit streets, and a resident's driveway works there. The van carries its own warm water and power, so it needs nothing from your building, and travel is included in the groom price for every Burlingame address. A visit runs about 120 minutes.
Every four to six weeks for most dog-park regulars, with a bath-only visit in between when the bay wind gets ahead of you. Bayside sits at the edge of the bay off Airport Boulevard, so salt air, dust and other dogs' slobber build up in the top coat, and your groomer starts with a long warm-water rinse before any shampoo, then blows the coat fully dry inside the van. A dog that also walks Mills Canyon gets a careful check for burrs and foxtails in the ears, armpits and between the toes. The groomer suggests a rhythm once they have seen your dog's coat in person.
Yes, at every Burlingame address, flats near the station included. Cat grooming happens in the same quiet, self-contained van, one-on-one with no dogs around: a Cat Bath is a flat $140 and a Cat Bath + Haircut a flat $180, flat, with no surprises at the door. Carry your cat down in a carrier, the groomer takes it from there, and a long-haired cat that mats in the damp under the trees does especially well on a regular schedule.
